4. Setup and Installation
The Barrina 5568 Remote Series LED Linear Light offers both hanging (pendant) and ceiling mounting options. Ensure you have the correct tools and follow all safety guidelines.
4.1 Important Compatibility Note
This 2nd-Generation 5568 Remote Series is only compatible with other 2nd-Generation 5568 Remote Series lights. Using incompatible series may cause damage or malfunction.
4.2 Connector Identification
Each connector (L-shaped) will have a Version A or Version B sticker on the back for easy identification:
- Version A connectors: Conduct electricity on both ends.
- Version B connector: Conduct electricity on only one end.
To avoid circuit damage: When connecting lights in a rectangular or closed-loop shape, at least one Version B connector must be used. Using only Version A connectors may cause the lights to short-circuit or burn out.
4.3 Hanging Installation
Follow these steps for pendant mounting:
- Determine the desired hoisting area (e.g., 56.46 x 103.27 inches for the 9FT x 5FT set).
- Use a percussion drill to make 35mm holes at the marked points on the ceiling.
- Insert the anchors and secure the hanging hardware.
- Adjust the chain height by holding the button on the cable gripper.
- Remove the PC cover and end caps from the light sections.
- Align the grooves and push the locking splices in to connect the light sections. Ensure tight connections without gaps or looseness. Secure with screws.
- Connect the wiring (Black/Brown = Live wire, White/Blue = Neutral wire, Green/Yellow = Earth wire). If lights are connected in series, only one fixture needs to be powered.
- Install the PC covers starting from the middle of each section.

- Secure the light into the brackets.
- Hold the light and turn the brackets to the "lock" position.
