1. AP/Router Mode

In this mode, the AP1200F acts as a primary router or an access point connected directly to your modem or existing router, providing a new wireless network.

  • Connect the WAN port of the AP1200F to your modem or router using an Ethernet cable.
  • Access the device's web interface (refer to the default IP address in the specifications section) to configure WAN settings (Static IP, DHCP, or PPPOE) and wireless network details (SSID, password).

2. Repeater Mode

Repeater mode extends the range of an existing WiFi network. The AP1200F connects wirelessly to your current router and re-broadcasts the signal.

  1. Power on the AP1200F.
  2. Connect a computer or mobile device to the AP1200F's default WiFi network (SSID and password can be found on the device label or in specifications).
  3. Open a web browser and navigate to the device's web interface.
  4. Select "Repeater Mode" from the operating mode options.
  5. Scan for nearby WiFi signals and select the network you wish to extend.
  6. Enter the correct WiFi password for the selected network.
  7. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the setup. The AP1200F will then extend the chosen WiFi network.

3. AP+Repeater Mode

This mode combines the functionality of an Access Point and a Repeater, allowing for extended coverage and additional wired connections.

  • Similar to Repeater mode, but the device may also offer additional LAN ports for wired connections or create a separate SSID.
  • Refer to the device's web interface for specific configuration options for this combined mode.
