1. Introduction
The SV3C 4K WiFi IP Camera Outdoor is an advanced security solution designed for both indoor and outdoor surveillance. Featuring an 8MP sensor, it delivers crisp 4K (3840x2160) resolution video, with adjustable resolutions down to 2560x1440 (4MP) and 1920x1080 (1080P/2MP). This camera supports dual-band WiFi (2.4GHz and 5GHz) for flexible connectivity and includes intelligent features such as humanoid, vehicle, and pet detection. Equipped with built-in floodlights and infrared LEDs, it offers both full-color and black & white night vision capabilities. Two-way audio allows for real-time communication, and multiple storage options including Micro SD card and cloud storage are available.

2. What's in the Box

4. Setup
4.1 Physical Installation
- Choose a Location: Select a suitable indoor or outdoor location for mounting. Ensure it has a clear view of the area you wish to monitor and is within range of your WiFi network or accessible for an Ethernet cable.
- Mount the Camera: Use the provided screw bag to securely mount the camera to a wall or ceiling. The camera supports wall mount installation.
- Connect Power: Connect the 12V DC power adapter to the camera's power input port and plug it into a power outlet.
- Waterproof Connections: For outdoor installations, use the provided waterproof lids to protect the power and Ethernet cable connections from moisture.
4.2 Network Connection
The camera supports both wired (Ethernet) and wireless (WiFi) connections.
Wired Connection (Recommended for initial setup)
- Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the camera's RJ45 port and the other end to your router or network switch.
- Proceed to App Setup.
Wireless Connection (Dual Band WiFi 2.4G/5G)
The camera supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi bands. 2.4GHz offers a more stable signal and longer transmission distance, while 5GHz provides faster data speeds. Choose the appropriate band based on your router's signal strength and distance.

- Ensure the camera is powered on.
- Download and install the Camhi or Camhipro app on your smartphone (available for iOS and Android).
- Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to add your camera. This typically involves scanning a QR code on the camera or searching for devices on your local network.
- During the setup process, you will be prompted to select your WiFi network and enter the password.
4.3 Initial Configuration
After connecting, configure basic settings via the Camhi/Camhipro app or HiP2P PC Client.
- Change Default Password: For security, immediately change the default password of your camera.
- Time Zone Setting: Set the correct time zone for accurate timestamping of recordings.
- Video Resolution: Adjust the video resolution (3840x2160, 2560x1440, or 1920x1080) based on your preference and network bandwidth.

5. Operating the Camera
5.1 Night Vision Modes
The camera offers two night vision modes:
- Black & White Night Vision: Infrared lights activate, providing clear black and white images up to 160ft (48.7m).
- Full Color Night Vision: Floodlights activate, providing full-color images up to 60ft (18.3m).
Both infrared and floodlights can be manually turned off via the app settings.

5.2 Smart Motion Detection & Alerts
The camera features advanced recognition functions to minimize false alarms:
- Humanoid Recognition: Detects human shapes.
- Humanoid - Vehicle Recognition: Distinguishes between humans and vehicles.
- Humanoid - Pet Recognition: Identifies humans and pets.
You can adjust the detection area and sensitivity within the app. When motion is detected, the camera can trigger various alerts:
- Push text notifications to your smartphone.
- Send emails with snapshots.
- Emit an alert sound from the camera.
- Turn on white light (during dark conditions only).
- Record to Micro SD card, Cloud, or FTP server.

5.3 Two-Way Audio
The built-in noise reduction microphone and speaker enable two-way audio communication. This allows you to listen to the camera's surroundings and speak through the camera using the app.

5.4 Storage and Playback
The camera offers flexible storage options for recorded footage:
- Micro SD Card: Supports up to 128GB (not included). This is a cost-effective local storage solution.
- FTP Server Storage: Requires a Micro SD card to be installed.
- Local Storage: Keep the app or software running on your device for local storage.
- NVR Storage: Compatible with some ONVIF NVRs (though not fully compatible with all).
- Cloud Storage: Available with a monthly service fee.
You can view live footage and watch playback remotely via the Camhi or Camhipro app.

5.5 Software and Browser Compatibility
The SV3C 4K IP camera is designed for versatile access and control:
- Recommended Apps: Camhi, Camhipro (for mobile devices).
- PC Client: HiP2P PC Client for desktop viewing and setup.
- Browser Access: View and set up the camera locally on web browsers such as Edge, Safari, Google Chrome, and Firefox without needing to download additional software.
- Third-Party Compatibility: Supports ONVIF, allowing it to work with software like Blue Iris, iSpy, and VLC, as well as some ONVIF compatible NVRs. Note that full compatibility with all third-party software is not guaranteed.

6. Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your camera.
- Cleaning: Gently wipe the camera lens and body with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could scratch the lens or housing.
- Weather Protection: The camera has an IP66 waterproof rating and an aluminum shell, making it suitable for outdoor use in various weather conditions (rain, snow, shine, dust). However, ensure all cable connections are properly sealed with the provided waterproof lids.
- Firmware Updates: Periodically check for firmware updates through the Camhi/Camhipro app or SV3C's official website to ensure your camera has the latest features and security patches.
- Cable Management: Ensure all cables are neatly routed and secured to prevent damage or accidental disconnections.
7. Troubleshooting
