  2. To Stop: Release either the security switch or the power switch. The blades will stop immediately.

Trimming Techniques

For optimal results and safety, follow these trimming guidelines:

  • Hold firmly: Maintain a firm grip with both hands on the ergonomic wrap-around handle.
  • Even strokes: Use smooth, sweeping motions to cut hedges and shrubs. The dual-action blades cut efficiently in both forward and backward movements.
  • Cutting capacity: The trimmer is designed to cut branches up to 9/16 inches (0.56 inches) thick. Do not force the trimmer through thicker branches.
  • Working height: The lightweight design allows for easy handling for both high and low trimming tasks without excessive fatigue.
  • Blade protection: Always use the blade cover when the trimmer is not in use or during transport.

Maintenance

Blade Care

Regular maintenance of the blades ensures optimal cutting performance and extends the life of your trimmer.

  • Cleaning: After each use, disconnect the battery and use a stiff brush or cloth to remove sap, leaves, and debris from the blades.
  • Lubrication: Apply a light machine oil or blade lubricant to the blades after cleaning to prevent rust and ensure smooth operation.
  • Sharpening: If the blades become dull, they can be sharpened by a qualified service technician. Do not attempt to sharpen them yourself unless you have proper training and tools.

Storage

Proper storage protects your trimmer and ensures it's ready for the next use.

  • Always attach the blade cover before storing or transporting the trimmer.
  • Store the trimmer in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Ensure the battery is fully charged before long-term storage and recharge it every 3-6 months to maintain battery health.
