Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity of your kettle.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the kettle and the power base with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- Interior Cleaning: For general cleaning, rinse the interior with water.
- Limescale Filter: The removable limescale filter can be washed under running water. If heavily scaled, gently brush with a soft brush. Ensure it is properly reinserted before use.
- Descaling: Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up inside the kettle. To descale, fill the kettle with a mixture of 1 part white vinegar and 2 parts water. Let it soak for at least 30 minutes, or boil the mixture if deposits are heavy. Rinse thoroughly several times with fresh water.
- Storage: Ensure the kettle is unplugged and completely dry before storing. Wrap the power cord around the cord storage area under the base.
