4. Setup

6.1 Accessing the Web Interface

1. Ensure your computer is connected to one of the switch's RJ45 ports.
2. Configure your computer's IP address to be in the same subnet as the switch's default IP address (e.g., if the switch is 192.168.2.1, set your computer to 192.168.2.x, where x is not 1).
3. Open a web browser and enter the default IP address of the switch: 192.168.2.1
4. Enter the default username and password when prompted:

7.4 Factory Reset

If you forget the login credentials or encounter persistent issues, you can restore the switch to its factory default settings:

1. With the switch powered on, locate the Reset button on the rear panel.
2. Use a paperclip or a similar pointed object to press and hold the Reset button for approximately 5-10 seconds until the LEDs flash.
3. Release the button. The switch will reboot with factory default settings.
