1. Plumbing Connections

• The pool heater is equipped with 1.5-inch PVC connectors. You should use SCH40 1.5-inch PVC pipe for plumbing installation.
• If using other pipe sizes, ensure to start with 1.5-inch connections at the heater and adapt as necessary.
• A circulation pump is required. The power of the circulation pump should be more than 1HP. Using a pump with less than 1HP may cause insufficient water flow.
• Do not use booster pumps or submersible pumps; only a circulation pump is suitable.
• Ensure the water flow direction matches the arrows on the heater unit (water flows from the pump, through the heater, and back to the pool/spa).

2. Electrical Connections

• Loosen the screws on the top cover of the heater to access the wiring terminal.
• For 220-240V systems, connect one ground wire (GND) and two hot wires (L1, L2) to the designated terminals.
• Ensure all wiring complies with local electrical standards to guarantee safe operation.
• Select the appropriate breaker based on the heater's power: for 5.5KW, a 40A breaker is required.
• Use 10AWG wire for the 5.5KW model.

Working Principle
