3.3 Powering On/Off

Press and hold the central Power button to turn the device on or off. Upon powering on, the device will perform a self-check and then display real-time readings.

3.4 Setting Date and Time

To set or adjust the date and time, ensure the unit is powered on. Remove and then reinsert the SD card. This action activates the date/time setting mode. Use the Power button to cycle through year, date, and time settings. Use the 'A' and 'B' buttons to adjust the values up or down respectively.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Real-Time Monitoring

Once powered on, the device continuously monitors and displays the following parameters on its HD screen:

  • CO: Carbon Monoxide concentration in Parts Per Million (PPM).
  • Atmos: Atmospheric pressure in hPa.
  • Altitude: Altitude in meters or feet.
  • Temperature: Temperature in Fahrenheit (℉) or Celsius (℃).
  • Humidity: Relative humidity in percentage (RH%).

Figure 4.1.1: The device displays real-time environmental data and provides clear indicators for CO hazard levels.

4.2 Carbon Monoxide (CO) Alarm Modes

The device features a multi-stage alarm system for CO detection:

  • 0-50 ppm: No alarm. Green indicator light breathes (flashes slowly).
  • 51-200 ppm: Alarm sounds "di" every 2 minutes. Orange indicator light illuminates.
  • 201-1000 ppm: Alarm sounds continuously. Red indicator light illuminates.

Important: If the CO alarm sounds, immediately move to fresh air and investigate the source of CO. Do not ignore CO alarms.

4.3 Power-Saved Mode (Sleep Mode)

To conserve battery, the screen will automatically turn off after 30 seconds of inactivity. The sensors will continue to operate and monitor the environment in the background. Press any button to reactivate the screen.
