Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your iSteady V3, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:
- Gimbal Not Powering On:
- Ensure the battery is sufficiently charged. Connect the gimbal to the USB-C charger and allow it to charge for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power on again.
- Check the power button for any obstructions or damage.
- Unstable or Shaky Footage:
- Verify that your smartphone is properly balanced in the clamp. Adjust its position until it remains level when the gimbal is powered off.
- Ensure no accessories (e.g., phone cases, external lenses) are causing imbalance or exceeding the maximum payload.
- Perform a gimbal calibration if available through the Hohem Joy App or by following specific button sequences (refer to the Quick Start Guide for details).
- AI Tracking Issues:
- Ensure clear visibility of the subject and adequate lighting conditions.
- Check that the AI tracker sensor is not obstructed.
- Confirm that the correct gestures are being used to initiate and control tracking.
- Remote Control Not Responding:
- Ensure the remote control is charged. If attached to the gimbal, it charges automatically. If detached, it may require separate charging or battery replacement (if applicable).
- Verify that the remote control is within operating range of the gimbal.
- If the issue persists, try re-pairing the remote control with the gimbal (refer to the Quick Start Guide).
