5. Setup and Installation

This product is designed for self-assembly. Follow these general steps for installation. Refer to the detailed assembly instructions provided in the product packaging for specific diagrams and hardware details.

1. Prepare the Area: Clear the installation area. Ensure the wall where the rail will be mounted is clean, dry, and structurally capable of supporting the door system's weight.

3. Mount the Rail: Mark the desired height for the rail on the wall. Drill pilot holes and securely attach the assembled rail to the wall using the appropriate screws and wall anchors for your wall type. Use a level to ensure the rail is perfectly horizontal.
4. Attach Door Hardware: Install the roller hangers and handles onto each door panel according to the specific instructions.
5. Hang the Doors: Carefully lift each door panel and hook the roller hangers onto the mounted rail. This step requires two people.
6. Install Floor Guides: Position and secure the floor guides to the floor directly beneath the doors to prevent them from swinging outwards.

7. Adjust and Test: Adjust the door stoppers on the rail to control the opening and closing limits. Test the sliding mechanism to ensure smooth operation and proper alignment.

6. Operating Instructions

To operate the WILDEN II Double Sliding Door System, simply grasp the handle on each door panel and slide it along the top rail. The integrated soft-close mechanism will gently slow the door's movement as it approaches the end of its travel, preventing abrupt stops and reducing noise.

• Rail and Rollers: Periodically inspect the top rail and rollers for any dust or debris. Clean with a dry cloth. If the doors do not slide smoothly, a silicone-based lubricant can be applied sparingly to the rail.
• Hardware Check: Annually check all screws and fasteners to ensure they are tight. Retighten if necessary.
