4. Setup and Installation
This recessed power strip requires a cutout in the mounting surface. Please follow these steps carefully:
- Prepare the Mounting Surface: Choose a flat, stable surface (e.g., desk, countertop) where you wish to install the power strip. Ensure there is sufficient clearance underneath for the power strip's body and cable.
- Measure and Mark: The required hole size for installation is approximately 5.4 inches (length) x 2.12 inches (width). Carefully measure and mark the cutout area on your chosen surface.
- Cut the Hole: Using appropriate tools (e.g., jigsaw, drill), carefully cut out the marked area. Ensure the edges are smooth and clean.
- Insert the Power Strip: Gently insert the power strip into the cutout. The top flange of the power strip should sit flush with the surface.
- Secure the Power Strip: The power strip is designed for a snug fit. If necessary, use mounting screws (not included, if applicable) through designated holes to secure it firmly.
- Connect to Power: Plug the 6FT power cord into a standard 125V AC wall outlet.

5. Operating Instructions
- AC Outlets: Insert standard US plugs into the two AC outlets. The patented shockproof design ensures power is supplied only when a proper plug is fully inserted.
- USB Charging Ports:
- USB-C Port: Connect your USB-C compatible devices for fast charging up to 20W Power Delivery.
- USB-A Ports: Connect your USB-A compatible devices for fast charging up to 18W Quick Charge.
- Overload Protection: The built-in circuit breaker will automatically shut off power if the total connected load exceeds 1875W or 15A. If this occurs, unplug some devices, wait a few moments, and then reset the circuit breaker (if visible, otherwise it's automatic).
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: To clean the power strip, first unplug it from the wall outlet. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the surface. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Drainage Holes: Periodically check the drainage holes on the back of the unit to ensure they are clear of debris. This is crucial for maintaining the IPX6 waterproof functionality.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect the power cord and the unit for any signs of damage. If any damage is found, discontinue use immediately and contact customer support.
