3. For backup power, insert two CR123A batteries (not included) into the battery compartment. Ensure correct polarity.

Installation

1. Download App: Download the "Tuya Smart" or "Smart Life" app from your mobile device's app store (available for Android and iOS).
2. Connect Wi-Fi: Ensure your mobile device is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Note: 5GHz Wi-Fi networks are not supported.
3. Add Device: Open the app, register or log in, and follow the in-app instructions to add a new device. The siren alarm should enter pairing mode automatically when first powered on. Look for "Siren Alarm" or similar in the device list.
4. Complete Setup: Follow the prompts in the app to complete the connection process. This typically involves confirming your Wi-Fi network and password.

• Firmware Updates: Check the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app periodically for any available firmware updates for the siren alarm. Keeping the firmware updated can improve performance and add new features.

Device Not Connecting to Wi-Fi / Not Blinking for Pairing

• Check Power: Ensure the device is properly plugged into a working electrical outlet via the USB cable. The device should always be connected to AC power for primary operation.
• Wi-Fi Band: Confirm that your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. This device does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi.
• Network Stability: Ensure your Wi-Fi signal is strong and stable in the location of the siren.
• Reset Device: If the device does not enter pairing mode (indicated by blinking), try resetting it. Refer to the app's instructions or the device's physical button (if any) for reset procedures. Often, unplugging and replugging after a short wait can initiate pairing mode.
• Router Distance: Move the siren closer to your Wi-Fi router to rule out range issues.

Siren Sound Level / Quality Issues

• Expected Loudness: The siren is rated for 100dB. While this is loud, environmental factors and distance can affect perceived loudness. Ensure the siren is not obstructed.

• Power Supply: Ensure the device has stable power. Low power could potentially affect sound output.

Backup Batteries Not Included / Type Clarification
