1. Introduction

The DAYTECH Care Call Bell Wireless System is designed to provide convenient and reliable assistance for caregivers and those in need of care. This system allows individuals to easily alert their caregiver from another room, reducing the need for constant supervision and providing peace of mind. It is ideal for the elderly, patients, pregnant women, and individuals with disabilities, ensuring quick contact in case of an emergency.

4. Setup Guide

4.1 Initial Setup and Pairing

The receiver and transmitters are pre-paired from the factory. If re-pairing is needed or if you wish to change the melody, follow these steps:

  1. Plug the receiver into a standard AC power outlet.
  2. On the receiver, press the Forward or Backward button (located on the side) to select your desired melody.
  3. Long press the volume button on the receiver until you hear a "ding-dong" sound, indicating it has entered pairing mode.
  4. Immediately press the call button on the transmitter. You will hear a "ding" sound from the receiver, confirming successful pairing.

4.2 Night Light Function

The receiver features a night light. To control it:

5. Operating Instructions

Once the system is set up and paired, operation is straightforward:

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

Wipe the receiver and transmitters with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the devices in water.

6.2 Transmitter Battery Replacement

The wristwatch transmitters are powered by a CR2032 coin cell battery. When the signal becomes weak or the transmitter stops working, it's time to replace the battery.

  1. Using a small screwdriver, unscrew the 4 screws on the back of the transmitter.
  2. Carefully open the casing and remove the internal PCB (Printed Circuit Board).
  3. Locate the CR2032 battery on the back of the PCB. Remove the old battery and insert a new CR2032 battery, ensuring correct polarity.
  4. Reassemble the transmitter, ensuring the PCB is correctly seated and the screws are tightened.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your DAYTECH Care Call Bell system, please refer to the following common solutions:

Receiver does not sound/flash.Receiver not plugged in or no power. Transmitter battery is low or dead. Transmitter is out of range. Receiver and transmitter are not paired.Ensure receiver is securely plugged into a working AC outlet. Replace the CR2032 battery in the transmitter. Move transmitter closer to the receiver. Re-pair the transmitter and receiver (refer to Section 4.1).
Short reception range.Obstacles (thick walls, metal objects) interfering with signal. Other wireless devices causing interference.Relocate the receiver to a more central location or away from large metal objects. Ensure there are no major obstructions between the transmitter and receiver. Minimize interference from other wireless devices if possible.
Button on transmitter requires too much force.Possible manufacturing variation or internal component issue.Ensure the button is pressed firmly and directly. If the issue persists and affects usability, please contact customer support for assistance under warranty.
