2. Installing/Adjusting the Chain and Guide Bar
The chainsaw features a tool-free chain adjustment system for convenience.
- Ensure the battery is removed before any adjustments.
- To change the guide bar (e.g., from 6-inch to 8-inch) or chain, locate the red adjustment knob on the side of the chainsaw.
- Rotate the knob counter-clockwise to loosen the guide bar cover.
- Carefully remove the cover, guide bar, and chain.
- Install the desired guide bar and chain, ensuring the chain teeth are facing the correct direction.
- Replace the cover.

- The digital display on the handle will show the remaining battery power.
2. Cutting Techniques
Always maintain a firm grip with both hands and ensure stable footing.
- Pruning Branches: For smaller branches, position the chainsaw firmly against the branch and apply steady, even pressure.
- Cutting Logs: For larger logs, ensure the log is stable and elevated if possible. Make cuts in stages if the log is thicker than the guide bar.
- Avoid Binding: Be mindful of the wood's tension to prevent the guide bar from getting pinched.
- Lubricate Frequently: Press the lubrication button regularly during cutting to keep the chain well-oiled.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your chainsaw.
- Cleaning: After each use, remove the battery and clean the guide bar, chain, and motor housing. Use a brush to remove sawdust and debris.
- Chain Sharpening: A sharp chain is crucial for efficient cutting and safety. Sharpen the chain regularly or replace it when dull. Refer to a professional if unsure.
- Chain Tension: Check chain tension frequently, especially during extended use, and adjust as needed using the tool-free knob.
- Lubrication System: Keep the oil tank filled and ensure the lubrication system is functioning correctly.
- Storage: Store the chainsaw in a dry, secure place, out of reach of children. Ensure the battery is removed for long-term storage.
