4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge your Memorex XBoom speaker. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the charging port on the speaker and to a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The LED indicator will show charging status.

4.2 Power On/Off

To power on the speaker, press and hold the Power button (⏻) located on the top panel for a few seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the lights illuminate. To power off, press and hold the Power button (⏻) again.

4.3 Bluetooth Pairing

1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and in pairing mode (the LED light will flash).
2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "Memorex XBoom" from the list.
4. Once connected, the speaker will provide an audible confirmation, and the LED light will stop flashing.

4.4 TWS (True Wireless Stereo) Pairing

To achieve true wireless stereo sound with two Memorex XBoom speakers:

1. Ensure both speakers are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth device.
2. On one speaker, short press the TWS/EQ button (often indicated by a double-speaker icon). It will enter TWS pairing mode.
3. The two speakers will automatically connect to each other. Once connected, one speaker will act as the master (left channel) and the other as the slave (right channel).
4. Now, connect your device to the master speaker via Bluetooth as described in section 4.3.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Control Panel Overview

The top panel of your XBoom speaker features intuitive controls:

• Power Button (⏻): Press and hold to power on/off. Short press to change light modes.
• Play/Pause/Hands-free Button (▶/██): Short press to play/pause music. Press to answer/reject phone calls.
• Volume Up / Next Track (+): Short press for volume up. Press and hold for next track.
• Volume Down / Previous Track (-): Short press for volume down. Press and hold for previous track.
• TWS/EQ Button (⌘): Short press to achieve TWS pairing. Press and hold to switch EQ modes (Indoor/Outdoor).

5.2 Music Playback

• Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause button (▶/██).
• Volume Adjustment: Press the + button to increase volume, or the - button to decrease volume.
• Next/Previous Track: Press and hold the + button for the next track, or the - button for the previous track.

5.3 Hands-free Calling

When connected to your phone via Bluetooth, the speaker can be used for hands-free calls:

• Answer Call: Press the Play/Pause button (▶/██).
• Reject Call: Press and hold the Play/Pause button (▶/██).
• End Call: Press the Play/Pause button (▶/██) during a call.

5.4 Light Modes

The speaker features multiple light modes. Short press the Power button (⏻) to cycle through the available light effects.

5.5 EQ Modes (Indoor/Outdoor)

To optimize sound for your environment, press and hold the TWS/EQ button (⌘) to switch between Indoor and Outdoor EQ modes.
