1. Introduction

2. Safety Guidelines

To ensure safe operation and prevent damage or injury, please read and adhere to the following safety guidelines:

  • Pre-Flight Check: Always inspect the drone, propellers, and batteries for any damage before each flight.
  • Environmental Conditions: Fly in open areas, away from people, animals, buildings, and trees. Avoid flying in strong winds, rain, or snow.
  • Battery Safety: Use only original batteries and charging cables. Do not overcharge or puncture batteries. Discontinue use if batteries are swollen or damaged.
  • Propeller Safety: Keep fingers, hair, and loose clothing away from rotating propellers.
  • Line of Sight: Maintain visual line of sight with the drone at all times during flight.
  • Legal Compliance: Be aware of and comply with local drone regulations and airspace restrictions.
  • Age Recommendation: This drone is recommended for adults. Younger users should be supervised by an adult.

3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Batteries

The drone comes with two flight batteries, each providing approximately 18 minutes of flight time for a total of 36 minutes with both. Use the provided USB Type-C charging cables.

  1. Connect the USB charging cable to the battery's Type-C port.
  2. Plug the other end of the USB cable into a 5V/2A USB power adapter (not included).
  3. The charging indicator on the battery will show charging status. Charging typically takes about 2 hours per battery.

3.2 Propeller Installation

Ensure propellers are correctly installed according to their markings (A or B) on the corresponding motor arms.

  1. Unfold the drone arms.
  2. Match the propeller type (A or B) with the marking on the motor base.
  3. Securely attach the propellers using the provided screwdriver.

3.3 Remote Controller Setup

Install 3x AA batteries (not included) into the remote controller. Extend the phone holder to mount your smartphone for FPV viewing.

3.4 App Installation (FPV & Advanced Features)

For FPV (First Person View) and access to advanced flight modes, download the dedicated drone application from your smartphone's app store. Search for "TizzyToy Drone" or scan the QR code provided in the quick start guide (if applicable).

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On and Pairing

  1. Place the drone on a flat, level surface.
  2. Press and hold the power button on the drone until the indicator lights turn on.
  3. Turn on the remote controller. The controller will automatically pair with the drone. Indicator lights will become solid when paired.
  4. Open the drone app on your smartphone and connect to the drone's Wi-Fi network (usually named "TizzyToy_XXXX").

4.2 Takeoff and Landing

  • One Key Start: After pairing, press the One Key Start button on the remote controller or in the app. The drone will automatically take off and hover at a stable altitude.
  • Manual Takeoff: Push both joysticks down and outwards simultaneously to arm the motors. Then, slowly push the left joystick up to ascend.
  • One Key Landing: Press the One Key Landing button. The drone will automatically descend and land gently.
  • Manual Landing: Slowly pull the left joystick down to descend. Once landed, push both joysticks down and inwards to disarm the motors.

  • 360° Obstacle Avoidance: The drone is equipped with sensors to detect and avoid obstacles, enhancing flight safety.
  • Gesture Photo/Video: Perform specific hand gestures in front of the camera to trigger photo or video recording.
  • Voice Control: Use voice commands through the app to control basic drone functions like "take off" or "take photos".
  • Circle Fly: The drone will automatically fly in a circle around a designated point.
  • Tap Fly Mode: Draw a path on your smartphone screen, and the drone will follow it automatically.

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the drone body and camera lens. Do not use liquid cleaners.
  • Propeller Inspection: Regularly check propellers for cracks or damage. Replace damaged propellers immediately.
  • Motor Care: The brushless motors are designed for durability. Avoid exposing them to dust or water.
  • Storage: Store the drone and batteries in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure batteries are partially charged (around 50%) for long-term storage.
