4. Setup Guide
Follow these steps to set up your CREWORKS Auto Heat Press Machine:
- Unboxing: Carefully remove the heat press and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
- Placement: Place the machine on a sturdy, flat, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the machine for ventilation and safe operation.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded 110V AC outlet. Ensure the power switch is in the OFF position before plugging in.
- Initial Inspection: Before first use, inspect the machine for any visible damage. Ensure the lower platen slides smoothly and the upper platen moves freely.
5. Operating Instructions
This section details the steps for operating your heat press machine.
5.1. Power On and Initial Settings
- Power On: Flip the main power switch to the ON position. The LCD display will illuminate.
- Setting Temperature: Press the 'SETUP' button on the LCD panel. Use the 'PLUS' and 'MINUS' buttons to adjust the desired temperature (up to 480°F). Press 'SETUP' again to confirm.
- Setting Time: After setting the temperature, the time setting will become active. Use the 'PLUS' and 'MINUS' buttons to set the desired pressing time (up to 999 seconds). Press 'SETUP' again to confirm.
- Selecting Mode (Optional): The machine features 3 preset temperature and timer modes. Use the 'MODE' button to cycle through these presets or to return to custom settings.
- Adjusting Pressure: The machine offers 5 pressure levels. Adjust the pressure based on the thickness of your material. For thicker materials (up to 1.2 inches), higher pressure may be required.

5.2. Heat Transfer Process
- Pre-heating: Allow the machine to reach the set temperature. The LCD will indicate when it's ready. The 1400W dual electric heating tubes ensure fast and even heating.
- Prepare Material: Place your T-shirt or other material onto the pull-out lower platen. Smooth out any wrinkles.
- Position Design: Place your transfer design (e.g., HTV, sublimation print) onto the material.
- Pressing: Slide the lower platen back into position. Press the 'MODE' button (or the designated start button) to initiate the automatic pressing cycle. The machine will automatically press down.
- Auto-Release: Once the set time expires, the machine will automatically release and pop open.
- Remove Material: Carefully slide out the lower platen and remove your finished item. Allow it to cool before handling the transfer if required by your transfer material.

- Platen Care: Keep the silicone pad and foam pads clean and free of debris. Replace them if they become worn or damaged to ensure even pressure.
