Setup
1. Charging the Battery
Before first use, fully charge both included lithium-ion batteries. Insert a battery into the provided charger and connect the charger to a power source. The indicator light on the charger will show the charging status.
2. Inserting the Battery and MicroSD Card
- Open the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the camera.
- Insert a charged battery into the compartment, ensuring the correct orientation.
- Insert the 32GB microSD card into the designated slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is inserted correctly to avoid damage.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
3. Powering On/Off
Press and hold the Power button (usually located on the top or side of the camera) for a few seconds to turn the camera on or off.
Operating the Camera
1. Photo Capture
To take a photo, ensure the camera is in photo mode. Lightly press the shutter button to autofocus, then press it fully to capture the image. The camera supports up to 48MP resolution for vivid photos.
2. Video Recording
Switch to video mode using the mode dial. Press the shutter button once to start recording and press it again to stop. The camera records in 4K resolution.
3. Zoom Function
Utilize the zoom controls (often marked 'W' for Wide and 'T' for Telephoto) to adjust the 16x digital zoom. This allows you to get closer to your subject without physically moving.
4. Using the 180-degree Rotatable Touch Screen
The 3-inch touch screen can be rotated 180 degrees, making it ideal for vlogging and self-portraits. You can also navigate menus and settings directly on the screen.
5. Mode Dial and Settings
The camera features an upgraded spin digital dial for easy selection of various shooting modes, including Auto, Macro, Manual, Movie, Portrait, and Sports. Adjust white balance and other settings through the camera's menu system.
6. App Remote Control and Real-time Preview
Download the dedicated smartphone app (scan the QR code in the quick start guide or search your app store) to remotely control the camera. This allows for remote shooting, setting adjustments, real-time preview, and playback directly from your smartphone.
7. Webcam and Live Streaming Functionality
Connect the camera to your PC via the included Type-C USB cable. The camera can function as a webcam for video chats or live streaming. Select "PC Camera" mode on the camera when prompted after connecting to your computer.
8. File Transfer and HDMI Output
Connect the camera to your PC via USB to transfer files in mass storage mode. For a more immersive viewing experience, connect the camera directly to an HDTV using an HDMI cable (sold separately) to view your photos and videos on a larger screen.
Maintenance
- Keep the camera clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth.
- Avoid exposing the camera to extreme temperatures, humidity, or dust.
- Do not use strong detergents or solvents for cleaning.
- When not in use for extended periods, remove the batteries.
