3. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps to install your components into the GAMDIAS AURA GC1 ELITE ARGB PC case.
3.1. Removing Side Panels
- Carefully lay the PC case on its side on a flat, stable surface.
- Locate the tempered glass side panel. This panel is typically secured with thumbscrews or a hinge mechanism. For tool-free access, gently open the hinged panel or unscrew the thumbscrews and carefully remove the glass panel. Place it on a soft, non-abrasive surface to prevent scratches.
- Remove the solid metal side panel on the opposite side (behind the motherboard tray) by unscrewing the two captive thumbscrews and sliding the panel backward, then lifting it off. This provides access for cable management.

3.2. Motherboard Installation
- Ensure the correct standoffs are installed for your motherboard form factor (ATX, Micro-ATX, Mini-ITX). The case comes with pre-installed standoffs for ATX. Adjust if necessary.
- Install the I/O shield (if not pre-attached to your motherboard) into the rear opening of the case.
- Carefully align your motherboard with the standoffs and I/O shield, then gently lower it into place.
- Secure the motherboard with the provided screws. Do not overtighten.
3.3. Power Supply Unit (PSU) Installation
- Position the PSU in the dedicated compartment at the bottom rear of the case. Ensure the fan faces downwards (if the case has a bottom vent) or upwards.
- Secure the PSU to the rear of the case with the provided screws.
3.4. Storage Drive Installation
The case supports 2x 3.5" or 1x 2.5" + 1x 3.5" (HDD Cage) / 2x 2.5" HDD Tray.
- Locate the drive cages/trays. These are typically found near the PSU shroud or behind the motherboard tray.
- For 3.5" HDDs, slide the drive into the designated bay and secure it with screws or tool-less clips.
- For 2.5" SSDs/HDDs, secure the drive to the 2.5" tray with screws, then mount the tray to its position.
3.5. Graphics Card (GPU) Installation
The case supports GPUs up to 340mm in length.
- Remove the necessary PCIe slot covers from the rear of the case.
- Align your graphics card with the PCIe slot on the motherboard and firmly press it into place until it clicks.
- Secure the graphics card to the case with the provided screws.

3.6. Connecting Front Panel Cables
Connect the front panel I/O cables to the corresponding headers on your motherboard. Refer to your motherboard manual for exact pin layouts.
- USB 3.0: Connect the USB 3.0 cable to the motherboard's USB 3.0 header.
- USB 2.0: Connect the USB 2.0 cables to the motherboard's USB 2.0 headers.
- HD Audio: Connect the HD Audio cable to the motherboard's audio header.
- Power SW, Reset SW, HDD LED, Power LED: Connect these small cables to the front panel headers on your motherboard. Pay attention to polarity for LEDs.
- ARGB Control: The pre-installed ARGB fans are connected to an internal controller. This controller can be managed via the case's LED control button or synchronized with a compatible motherboard's ARGB header (if available).

4. Operating the Case Features
4.1. Powering On/Off
Press the power button located on the top I/O panel to turn your system on or off. A short press typically powers on, while a longer press (usually 4-5 seconds) will force a shutdown.
4.2. ARGB Lighting Control
The pre-installed ARGB fans can be controlled in two ways:
- Case LED Control Button: Press the dedicated LED control button on the top I/O panel to cycle through various pre-set ARGB lighting effects and colors.
- Motherboard Synchronization: If your motherboard has a compatible 3-pin 5V ARGB header, you can connect the case's ARGB controller to it. This allows you to control and synchronize the fan lighting with your motherboard's RGB software (e.g., ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light, Gigabyte RGB Fusion). Refer to your motherboard manual for connection details.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance helps ensure optimal performance and longevity of your PC components.
- Dust Filters: The case includes magnetic dust filters (e.g., for the top panel) and a removable filter for the PSU intake. Regularly remove and clean these filters with compressed air or water (ensure they are completely dry before re-installation).
- Fan Cleaning: Periodically clean the fan blades with compressed air to remove dust buildup, which can impede airflow and increase noise.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals that may damage the finish or tempered glass.
- Tempered Glass: Clean the tempered glass panel with a microfiber cloth and a glass cleaner specifically designed for electronics to avoid streaks or damage.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your PC case, consider the following common troubleshooting steps:
- System Not Powering On:
- Ensure the PSU is switched on and properly connected to the wall outlet.
- Verify that the motherboard's 24-pin and CPU power cables are securely connected.
- Check that the front panel "Power SW" cable is correctly connected to the motherboard header.
- Fans Not Spinning or RGB Not Working:
- Confirm all fan power cables are securely connected to the fan controller or motherboard headers.
- If using motherboard RGB synchronization, ensure the ARGB cable from the case controller is correctly connected to a compatible 3-pin 5V ARGB header on your motherboard.
- Try cycling through RGB modes using the case's LED control button to rule out software issues.
- USB Ports Not Functioning:
- Ensure the USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 front panel cables are correctly connected to their respective headers on the motherboard.
- Check your motherboard's BIOS/UEFI settings to ensure USB ports are enabled.
- Audio Ports Not Functioning:
- Verify the HD Audio front panel cable is securely connected to the motherboard's audio header.
- Check your operating system's audio settings and ensure the correct output device is selected.
