1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting your Apple iPad Pro 13-Inch (M4). 2. Setup

2.1. Unboxing and Initial Inspection

Upon opening the packaging, ensure all components are present and undamaged. The box should contain:

  • 13-inch iPad Pro
  • USB-C Charge Cable (1 m)
  • 20W USB-C Power Adapter

Carefully remove the iPad Pro from its packaging. Inspect the device for any physical damage before proceeding.

2.2. Powering On and Charging

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge your iPad Pro. Connect the USB-C charge cable to the iPad's USB-C port and the 20W USB-C Power Adapter. Plug the adapter into a power outlet. The battery icon on the screen will indicate charging status.

To power on the iPad Pro, press and hold the top button until the Apple logo appears.

2.3. Initial Setup Steps

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initial setup:

  1. Select Language and Region: Choose your preferred language and country or region.
  2. Quick Start: If you have another iOS device, you can use Quick Start to set up your new iPad automatically.

3.3. iPadOS and Applications

  • Battery Draining Quickly: Check battery usage in Settings > Battery to identify apps consuming significant power. Adjust settings like screen brightness and background app refresh.

5.2. Restoring to Factory Settings

If persistent issues occur, you may consider restoring your iPad Pro to its factory settings. Warning: This will erase all data on your device. Back up your iPad Pro to iCloud or your computer before proceeding. Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPad > Erase All Content and Settings.
