Setup and Installation
Installation of the OVE Decors Bel Shower Kit requires two people. Ensure you have all necessary tools before starting.
Tools Required:
- Measuring Tape
- Level
- Drill with appropriate bits (for tile/concrete and wood studs)
- Phillips Head Screwdriver
- Caulking Gun and Silicone Sealant (mildew resistant)
- Pencil
- Utility Knife
Installation Steps:
- Prepare the Alcove: Ensure the shower alcove walls are plumb and square, and the floor is level. The shower base should be installed and properly sealed according to its specific instructions before installing the door.
- Install the Shower Base: Position the shower base in the desired location. Ensure it is level and properly drained. Apply silicone sealant around the perimeter where the base meets the wall to prevent water leakage.
