1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing the EMTOP 20V Cordless Drill-Driver and Impact Wrench Combo Kit. This manual provides essential information for the safe operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your new tools. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the tools to ensure proper function and to prevent injury. Keep this manual for future reference.
2. Safety Instructions
Always follow basic safety precautions to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury.
General Power Tool Safety
- Work Area Safety: Keep the work area clean and well-lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents. Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust.
- Electrical Safety: Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators, ranges, and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded.
- Personal Safety: Always wear eye protection. Use personal protective equipment such as dust masks, non-skid safety shoes, hard hats, or hearing protection when appropriate. Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep your hair and clothing away from moving parts.
- Tool Use and Care: Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application. Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on and off. Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or the battery pack from the power tool before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools.
Battery Pack Safety
- Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer.
- Do not use battery packs with any other power tools.
- When the battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects.
- Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help.

- Push the desired socket onto the square drive anvil until it locks into place.
- To remove, pull the socket firmly off the anvil.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 General Operation
- Trigger Switch: Squeeze the trigger to start the tool. The speed is variable based on how far the trigger is pressed.
- Forward/Reverse Switch: Push the switch to the left for forward rotation (tightening/drilling) and to the right for reverse rotation (loosening/removing screws). Position the switch in the center to lock the trigger and prevent accidental starting.
- LED Work Light: The integrated LED light activates when the trigger is pressed, illuminating the work area.
6.2 Cordless Drill-Driver Operation
- Speed Selection: Use the speed selector switch on top of the tool to choose between:
- Low Speed (1): For high torque applications like driving large screws or drilling large holes.
- High Speed (2): For faster drilling of smaller holes or light driving tasks.
- Torque Adjustment: Rotate the torque adjustment ring to select the desired torque setting. Lower settings are for driving small screws or into soft materials, preventing overtightening. Higher settings are for driving larger screws or into harder materials. The drill mode bypasses the clutch for maximum torque.
- Drilling: Select the drill mode on the torque ring. Apply steady, even pressure.
- Driving Screws: Select an appropriate torque setting. Start slowly and increase speed as needed.
6.3 Cordless Impact Wrench Operation
- Application: Ideal for fastening and loosening nuts, bolts, and lag screws.
- Using Sockets: Ensure the correct size socket (e.g., 17mm, 19mm, 21mm) is securely attached to the square drive anvil.
- Operation: Position the socket over the fastener. Squeeze the trigger to begin operation. The impact mechanism will engage as resistance is met, providing high torque.
- Brushless Motor: The brushless motor provides enhanced power, efficiency, and durability compared to brushed motors, resulting in longer runtimes and reduced maintenance.
7. Maintenance
