Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials from the air fryer. Retain packaging for future storage or disposal.
  2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wipe the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth. Remove the cooking basket and wash it thoroughly with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry completely. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
  3. Placement: Place the air fryer on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from walls or other appliances to allow for proper air circulation. Ensure there is at least 10 cm (4 inches) of clear space on all sides.
  4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage matches the specifications of your appliance (220-240V).
  5. First Use (Burn-in): It is recommended to run the air fryer empty for about 10-15 minutes at 180°C (356°F) before cooking food for the first time. This helps to burn off any manufacturing residues and eliminate initial odors. A slight odor or smoke may be present during this process; this is normal. Ensure the area is well-ventilated.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your air fryer.

  1. Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the air fryer from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Clean Basket and Grill: The cooking basket and non-stick grill are dishwasher safe. Alternatively, wash them with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reassembling. Do not use metal scouring pads or abrasive cleaning materials.
  3. Clean Interior: Wipe the interior of the air fryer with a damp cloth. For stubborn food residue, a small amount of mild dish soap can be used. Ensure no water enters the heating element area.
  4. Clean Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  5. Storage: Store the cleaned and dried air fryer in a cool, dry place.
