4. Setup Instructions

The WAVE Garda Hot Tub is designed for quick and easy, tool-free setup, typically completed within 20-30 minutes.

4.1 Site Preparation

  • Choose a flat, level surface that can safely support the hot tub when filled (approximately 218 gallons / 825 liters of water plus occupants).
  • Ensure the location is near a grounded electrical outlet (GFCI protected) and a water source.
  • Clear the area of any sharp objects or debris.

4.2 Assembly Steps

  1. Unpack all components and lay them out on the prepared surface.
  2. Assemble the Eco Foam panels to form the outer structure of the hot tub. The panels interlock for a secure fit.
  3. Carefully place the hot tub liner inside the assembled foam structure, ensuring it is centered and smooth.
  4. Connect the integrated heater and pump unit to the designated ports on the hot tub liner. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks.
  5. Install the filter cartridge into the filter housing within the hot tub.
  6. Fill the hot tub with water to the recommended fill line.
  7. Connect the power cord to a GFCI-protected electrical outlet.
  8. Place the protective cover over the hot tub and secure it with the safety clips.

5. Operating Instructions

Your WAVE Garda Hot Tub features a user-friendly wired control panel for managing its functions.

5.1 Power On/Off

  • Press the power button on the wired control panel to turn the hot tub on or off.

5.2 Rapid Heating System

  • Use the temperature control buttons on the panel to set your desired water temperature, up to 104°F (40°C).
  • The integrated heater will automatically work to reach and maintain the set temperature. Heating rate is approximately 1°C per hour.

5.3 AquaJet Massage System

  • Press the bubble button on the control panel to activate the 70 AquaJet Massage System.
  • Press the button again to turn off the massage function.

5.4 Wi-Fi Control

  • Download the official WAVE app on your smartphone or tablet.
  • Follow the in-app instructions to connect your hot tub to your home Wi-Fi network.
  • Once connected, you can control heating, filtration, and massage functions remotely.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and hygienic operation of your hot tub.

6.1 Filtration System

  • The hot tub features an easy-to-use filtration system.
  • Clean filter cartridges regularly (e.g., weekly) by rinsing them with a hose.
  • Replace filter cartridges every 1-2 months, or more frequently depending on usage and water quality.

6.2 Water Care

  • Test water chemistry regularly (e.g., 2-3 times per week) using test strips.
  • Maintain appropriate levels of sanitizers (e.g., chlorine or bromine), pH, and alkalinity.
  • Drain and refill the hot tub every 3-4 months, or as needed, to ensure fresh water.

6.3 Cleaning the Hot Tub

  • Wipe down the interior surface of the hot tub with a soft cloth and mild cleaner when drained.
  • Clean the exterior panels as needed with a damp cloth.
