3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking
- Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
- Remove any tags, labels, or protective films from the appliance.
3.2 Initial Cleaning
Before first use, wash the removable roasting pan, roasting rack, and lid in hot, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the exterior of the roaster oven base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base unit in water.
3.3 Assembly and Placement
- Place the roaster oven base on a stable, level, and heat-resistant surface, away from walls or other appliances to allow for proper ventilation.
- Insert the removable roasting pan into the roaster oven base.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Temperature Control Dial
The roaster oven features a single control dial for all temperature settings. Turn the dial to select your desired function or temperature.
- OFF: Turns the appliance off.
- KEEP WARM (150°F): Maintains food at an ideal serving temperature after cooking.
- DEFROST (275°F): Designed for thawing frozen foods.
- 150°F - 450°F: Full-range temperature settings for roasting and baking.

4.2 Preheating
For best results, preheat the roaster oven to the desired temperature before adding food. This typically takes 15-20 minutes. The indicator light will turn off when the set temperature is reached.
4.3 Roasting and Baking
- Place food on the roasting rack within the removable pan.
- Cover with the self-basting lid.
- Set the temperature dial to the desired cooking temperature.
- Monitor cooking progress. The self-basting lid helps maintain moisture, reducing the need for frequent opening.
4.4 Defrost Function
To use the defrost function, place the frozen item in the roasting pan (without the rack if preferred for larger items) and set the dial to 'DEFROST'. This setting provides a gentle heat to thaw food safely before cooking.

4.5 Keep Warm Function
Once cooking is complete, you can turn the dial to 'KEEP WARM' to maintain the food's temperature without overcooking. This is ideal for serving or holding food until guests are ready.

5. Cleaning and Maintenance
