Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and ensure all components listed in the "Components Included" section are present.
- Placement: Place the machine on a stable, level, and heat-resistant surface, away from water sources and direct sunlight. Ensure adequate ventilation around the machine.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wipe the exterior of the machine with a damp cloth. Wash the water tank, portafilter, and filter basket with warm, soapy water, then rinse thoroughly.
- Filling the Water Tank: Remove the water tank from the back of the machine. Fill it with fresh, cold water up to the MAX level indicator. Do not exceed the MAX line. Reinsert the water tank securely.
- First Use Cycle (Priming):
- Ensure the water tank is filled.
- Plug the machine into a grounded power outlet.
- Press the Power Button to turn on the machine. The indicator light will illuminate.
- Place a cup under the coffee outlet.
- Press the Single Espresso Button to run a cycle of hot water through the system without coffee. This primes the pump and cleans the internal components. Repeat this process 2-3 times.
- Turn the steam knob to release steam for a few seconds to prime the steam wand.

Operating Instructions
Making Espresso
- Prepare the Portafilter: Insert the desired filter basket (single or double shot) into the portafilter.
- Add Ground Coffee: Fill the filter basket with finely ground espresso coffee. Use the included coffee spoon for measurement.
- Tamp the Coffee: Use a tamper to press the coffee grounds firmly and evenly. Ensure the surface is level.
- Attach Portafilter: Align the portafilter with the group head and twist it firmly to the right until it is securely locked in place.
- Place Cup(s): Position one or two espresso cups on the drip tray directly under the portafilter spouts.
- Brew Espresso:
- Ensure the machine is powered on and the indicator light for brewing is steady (indicating optimal temperature).
- Press the Single Espresso Button for a single shot or the Double Espresso Button for a double shot.
- The machine will automatically stop brewing once the pre-set volume is reached.
- Remove Portafilter: Once brewing is complete, carefully remove the portafilter by twisting it to the left. Discard the used coffee grounds.

Frothing Milk
- Prepare Milk: Fill a stainless steel frothing pitcher with cold milk (dairy or non-dairy) up to one-third full.
- Activate Steam Function: Press the Steam Button. The indicator light will blink while heating and become steady when ready for steaming.
- Purge Steam Wand: Position an empty cup under the steam wand. Turn the steam knob briefly to release any condensed water. Turn it off.
- Froth Milk:
- Immerse the tip of the steam wand just below the surface of the milk.
- Turn the steam knob to full power.
- Hold the pitcher at a slight angle, moving it up and down gently to incorporate air and create foam.
- Once the desired foam consistency and temperature are reached (pitcher is hot to touch), turn off the steam knob.
- Clean Steam Wand: Immediately wipe the steam wand with a damp cloth to remove any milk residue. Turn the steam knob briefly again to purge any milk from inside the wand.
- Deactivate Steam: Press the Steam Button again to return to coffee brewing mode.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your espresso machine.
- Daily Cleaning:
- Portafilter and Filter Basket: After each use, remove the portafilter, discard coffee grounds, and rinse the portafilter and filter basket under running water.
- Drip Tray: Empty and rinse the removable drip tray daily.
- Steam Wand: Always wipe and purge the steam wand immediately after frothing milk to prevent milk residue buildup.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the machine with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the machine in water.
