1. Introduction

4. Setup and Assembly

Assembly is required for this chair. Follow the illustrated assembly instructions provided in the package. Ensure you have adequate space and the necessary tools (usually an Allen key, which is included).

1. Attach Casters to Base: Insert each of the five caster wheels into the holes at the end of each leg of the 5-star base. Push firmly until they click into place.
2. Insert Gas Lift: Place the gas lift cylinder into the central hole of the 5-star base.
3. Attach Mechanism to Seat: Secure the seat mechanism (which includes the height adjustment lever) to the underside of the seat using the provided screws. Ensure the front of the mechanism aligns with the front of the seat.
4. Connect Seat to Gas Lift: Carefully place the assembled seat onto the gas lift cylinder. The tapered end of the gas lift should fit securely into the mechanism.
5. Final Check: Once assembled, sit on the chair to ensure the gas lift is properly seated and all connections are secure.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Height Adjustment

To adjust the seat height:

• To Raise: While standing, pull the height adjustment lever upwards. The seat will rise automatically. Release the lever at the desired height.
• To Lower: While seated, pull the height adjustment lever upwards. The seat will lower under your weight. Release the lever at the desired height.

5.2. Swivel Function

The chair features a 360° swivel function, allowing for easy rotation without moving the base. Simply rotate the seat to your desired direction.

6. Maintenance

6.1. Cleaning

• Fabric Upholstery: For general cleaning, vacuum the fabric regularly to remove dust and debris. For spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth. For stubborn stains, use a mild fabric cleaner according to the product's instructions, testing on an inconspicuous area first. Avoid harsh chemicals.

• Chair wobbles: Check all assembly screws and ensure they are tightened securely. Verify the 5-star base is properly seated on the gas lift.
• Casters do not roll smoothly: Inspect casters for debris (hair, dirt) and clean them. Ensure they are fully inserted into the base.
• Squeaking noises: Apply a small amount of silicone lubricant to moving parts or joints if squeaking occurs. Avoid oil-based lubricants on plastic components.
