5. Setup and Assembly

5.1. Battery Charging

1. Insert the battery into the charger.
2. Plug the charger into a standard electrical outlet.

5.2. Guide Bar and Chain Installation

6.1. Starting the Chainsaw

Release the trigger switch. The chain will stop rotating. Always engage the safety lock when not actively cutting.

3. The chain is correctly tensioned when it can be pulled away from the guide bar by about 1/8 to 1/4 inch (3-6 mm) at the center, and still snaps back into place.
4. Once tension is correct, firmly tighten the side cover knob.

7.3. Chain Sharpening/Replacement

• A dull chain will cut slowly and require more force. Sharpen the chain regularly using a suitable round file (refer to chain specifications for correct file size).
