3. Setup
3.1 Preparing the Robot
- Unpack: Carefully remove the robot, charging station, and all accessories from the packaging.
- Install Side Brushes: Press the left (L) and right (R) side brushes into their respective slots on the bottom of the robot until they click into place.
- Install Mopping Pad (Optional): If using the mopping function, attach a textile mopping pad to the mop attachment and slide the attachment into the designated slot at the rear of the robot.
3.2 Setting Up the Charging Station
- Placement: Place the charging station against a wall in an open, uncluttered area. Ensure there is at least 1 meter of clear space on both sides and 2 meters in front of the charging station.

- Using the Robot Button: Press the power button on top of the robot once to start an automatic cleaning cycle. Press again to pause. Press and hold to send it back to the charging station.
- Using the Remote Control: Press the "Auto Clean" button on the remote control to start a general cleaning cycle. Use directional buttons for manual control.
- Using the SENCOR HOME App: Open the app, select your device, and tap "Start Cleaning" or choose a specific cleaning mode.
4.2 Cleaning Modes

4.3 Mopping Function

To use the mopping function:
- Fill Water Tank: Open the water tank on the mop attachment and fill it with clean water. Do not use cleaning solutions that are not approved for robot vacuums.
- Attach Mopping Pad: Securely attach a clean textile mopping pad to the mop attachment.
- Install Mop Module: Slide the filled mop module into the back of the robot until it clicks.
- Start Cleaning: The robot will vacuum and mop simultaneously. You can adjust the wiping intensity via the SENCOR HOME app.
Note: Remove the mop module when cleaning carpets to avoid wetting them.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your SENCOR SRM 4550WH robot vacuum cleaner.
5.1 Dustbin and Filters
- Empty Dustbin: Empty the dustbin after each cleaning cycle. Press the dustbin release button, pull out the dustbin, and discard collected debris.
- Clean Filters: Tap the HEPA and foam filters to remove dust. For a deeper clean, rinse the foam filter and dustbin with water (do not rinse the HEPA filter). Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling. Replace filters every 3-6 months depending on usage.
5.2 Brushes
- Main Brush: Remove the main brush cover and lift out the main brush. Use the provided cleaning tool to remove hair and debris tangled around the brush. Clean the brush bearings.
- Side Brushes: Periodically check the side brushes for wear or damage. Remove any tangled hair or debris. Replace worn brushes to maintain effective edge cleaning.
5.3 Mopping Pad
- Clean Mopping Pad: After each mopping session, remove the textile mopping pad and rinse it thoroughly with water. It can also be machine washed. Allow it to air dry completely before reuse.
- Clean Water Tank: Empty any remaining water from the tank and rinse it. Allow it to air dry.
5.4 Sensors and Charging Contacts
- Clean Sensors: Use a clean, dry cloth to wipe the anti-drop sensors (on the bottom of the robot) and anti-collision sensors (on the bumper).
- Clean Charging Contacts: Wipe the charging contacts on both the robot and the charging station with a dry cloth to ensure good connection.
