1. Introduction

2.1 Package Contents

2.2 Connectivity Options

The F75 keyboard supports three connection modes: Bluetooth, 2.4GHz wireless, and wired USB-C.

2.2.1 Wired USB-C Connection

  1. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the keyboard's USB-C port.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to an available USB port on your computer.
  3. The keyboard will be automatically recognized and ready for use.

2.2.2 2.4GHz Wireless Connection

  1. Locate the 2.4GHz USB receiver, usually stored in a slot on the keyboard.
  2. Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
  3. Switch the keyboard's mode selector to 2.4GHz wireless mode.
  4. The keyboard should connect automatically. If not, press and hold the Fn key along with the 2.4GHz key (often indicated by an icon) to initiate pairing.

2.2.3 Bluetooth Connection

  1. Switch the keyboard's mode selector to Bluetooth mode.
  2. On your device (computer, tablet, phone), go to Bluetooth settings and enable Bluetooth.
  3. On the keyboard, press and hold Fn + B1, B2, or B3 (Bluetooth channel keys) for 3-5 seconds until the indicator light flashes, indicating pairing mode.
  4. Select "EPOMAKER F75" from the list of available Bluetooth devices on your device to complete pairing.

2.3 Charging the Battery

The F75 keyboard is equipped with a 4000mAh battery. Connect the USB-C cable to the keyboard and a power source (computer USB port or USB wall adapter) to charge. The indicator light will show charging status and turn off when fully charged.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Basic Key Functions

The F75 features a standard QWERTY layout with 80 keys. Refer to the keycap legends for primary functions. Many keys have secondary functions accessible via the Fn key.

3.2 Multimedia Control Knob

The dedicated knob on the top right corner allows for quick and easy control of multimedia functions:

  • Rotate: Adjust volume (clockwise to increase, counter-clockwise to decrease).
  • Press: Mute/unmute audio.

3.3 RGB Backlighting

The keyboard features 16.8 million color RGB backlighting. Various lighting effects, brightness levels, and speeds can be adjusted directly on the keyboard or through the programmable software.

3.4 Programmable Software

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning

  • Disconnect the keyboard from your computer before cleaning.
  • Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution to wipe the keycaps and case.
  • For dust and debris between keys, use compressed air.
  • Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

4.2 Hot-Swappable Switches

The F75 keyboard features hot-swappable sockets, allowing you to change mechanical switches without soldering. This supports 3-pin and 5-pin mechanical switches.

  1. Use the included keycap puller to gently remove the desired keycap.
  2. Use the switch puller to carefully extract the mechanical switch from its socket.
  3. Align the pins of the new switch with the holes in the PCB and press firmly until it clicks into place. Ensure pins are not bent.
  4. Replace the keycap.

4.3 Keycap Replacement

The F75 comes with durable Cherry profile double-shot PBT keycaps. If you wish to replace them:

  1. Use the keycap puller to remove the existing keycaps.
  2. Gently press the new keycaps onto the switch stems until they are securely seated.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1 Keyboard Not Responding

  • Wired Mode: Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and the computer. Try a different USB port or cable.
  • 2.4GHz Wireless Mode: Ensure the USB receiver is plugged in and the keyboard is switched to 2.4GHz mode. Re-pair if necessary (Fn + 2.4GHz key). Check battery level.
  • Bluetooth Mode: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the keyboard is in Bluetooth mode. Re-pair the keyboard (Fn + B1/B2/B3). Check battery level.
  • Battery: Charge the keyboard fully.

5.2 Keys Not Registering or Double-Typing

  • Switch Issue: Due to the hot-swappable design, a switch might be improperly seated. Gently remove the keycap and switch, then re-insert the switch firmly.
  • Debris: Clean around the affected switch with compressed air.
  • Software Glitch: Restart your computer and keyboard.

5.3 RGB Backlighting Not Working

  • Brightness: Ensure the brightness is not set to zero. Adjust using keyboard shortcuts or software.
  • Mode: Check if the lighting mode is set to 'off' or a static color that blends with the keycaps.
  • Software: Use the programmable software to diagnose and adjust lighting settings.
  • Battery: Low battery can affect RGB performance in wireless modes. Charge the keyboard.
