Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Macally Wireless Mechanical Keyboard for Mac. Setup

Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the keyboard using the provided USB-C cable. Connect the USB-C end to the keyboard's charging port and the other end to a USB power source. The charging indicator light will glow green while charging and turn white or off when fully charged. A full charge provides up to 3 months of use, depending on backlight usage.

Bluetooth Pairing

The keyboard supports seamless connection and switching between up to 3 Bluetooth-enabled devices (e.g., MacBook, iPad, iPhone).

1. Ensure the keyboard is charged and powered on.
2. Press and hold the Fn key and one of the Bluetooth keys (B1, B2, or B3) for 3 seconds until the corresponding indicator light flashes rapidly. This indicates pairing mode.
3. On your Mac device, navigate to System Settings (or System Preferences on older macOS versions) > Bluetooth.
4. Select "Macally Keyboard" from the list of available devices and follow the on-screen prompts to complete pairing.
5. Once paired, the indicator light will stop flashing and remain solid for a few seconds.

Adjustable Kickstands

The keyboard features adjustable kickstands on the underside to allow for a more ergonomic typing angle. Gently flip out the kickstands to raise the back of the keyboard. Fold them back in for a flatter profile.

Operating Instructions

Typing Experience

This keyboard is equipped with precision blue mechanical switches, providing a tactile and responsive typing experience with a crisp, audible click on each keystroke. The 75% compact layout is designed to maximize functionality while saving desk space.

Backlighting Control

The keyboard features white LED backlighting with three adjustable brightness options. Switching Between Devices

To switch between paired Bluetooth devices, simply press the Fn key along with the corresponding Bluetooth channel key (B1, B2, or B3) that your desired device is paired to. The keyboard will quickly connect to the selected device.

Maintenance

Cleaning

To clean the keyboard, power it off and disconnect any cables. Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution. Avoid excessive moisture. For dust and debris between keys, use compressed air. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

Battery Care

To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the keyboard frequently. Charge it when the battery indicator is low. If storing the keyboard for an extended period, charge it to about 50% before storage and recharge every few months.
