Power Supply Methods
The Beafon RDS900 offers multiple ways to ensure it always has power:
- Hand Crank Dynamo: Rotate the hand crank clockwise or counter-clockwise at a steady pace to generate power. A few minutes of cranking can provide significant operating time for the radio or flashlight.
- Solar Panel: Place the radio in direct sunlight with the solar panel facing upwards. The solar panel will slowly charge the internal battery. This method is ideal for maintaining charge over long periods in daylight.
- Micro USB Charging: Use the provided Micro USB cable to charge the radio from any standard USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer, power bank). This is the fastest charging method.
- Internal Battery: The radio is equipped with a built-in Lithium Polymer battery that stores power from all charging methods and provides power for operation.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the radio with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the radio in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for extended periods, ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%) to prolong its lifespan.
- Battery Care: Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Recharge the battery regularly, even if the radio is not in use, to maintain battery health.
