Setup
Unpacking and Positioning
- Remove all packaging materials and transport bolts from the rear of the machine. Keep these for future transport.
- Place the washing machine on a firm, level floor. Adjust the feet to ensure stability and prevent vibrations during operation.
- Ensure there is adequate space around the appliance for ventilation and maintenance.
Water and Electrical Connections
- Connect the water inlet hose to a cold water tap with a 3/4-inch thread. Ensure the connection is tight to prevent leaks.
- Position the drain hose into a standpipe or over the edge of a sink, ensuring it is securely fixed to prevent displacement during draining.
- Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage matches the appliance's requirements (230 Volts).
First Use
- Before washing clothes, run an empty cycle at 60°C with a small amount of detergent to clean the drum and remove any manufacturing residues.
Operating Instructions
Loading Laundry
- Open the Soft Opening lid.
- Load laundry loosely into the drum, ensuring not to overload. The maximum capacity is 7 kg.
- Close the lid securely.
Adding Detergent and Softener
- Pull out the detergent dispenser drawer.
- Add the appropriate amount of detergent to the main wash compartment and fabric softener to its designated compartment. Refer to detergent packaging for dosage.
- Push the dispenser drawer back in completely.
Program Selection and Start
- Turn the program selector knob to choose the desired wash program (e.g., Cotton, Synthetics, Delicates, Wool/Silk, 20 min. - 3 kg, Outdoor, Duvets, Easy Iron, Spin/Drain).
- Use the touch display to adjust settings such as temperature, spin speed, and additional options (e.g., Prewash, Extra Rinse, Eco TimeSave).
- Press the 'Start/Pause' button to begin the wash cycle.
Maintenance
Cleaning the Detergent Dispenser
- Regularly remove and clean the detergent dispenser drawer under running water to prevent residue buildup.
Cleaning the Drum
- Run a maintenance wash cycle (e.g., a hot cycle with no laundry and a descaling agent) periodically to clean the drum and internal components.
Cleaning the Exterior
- Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
