3. Setup

3.1 Inserting a Memory Card

  1. Ensure the dash cam is powered off.
  2. Locate the memory card slot on the side of the dash cam.
  3. Insert a high-speed (Class 10 or higher) microSD card (not included) with the contacts facing the screen, until it clicks into place.
  4. To remove, gently push the card in until it clicks out.

Important: Format the memory card within the dash cam's settings menu before first use and periodically thereafter to ensure optimal performance and prevent data corruption.

3.2 Mounting the Dash Cam

  1. Clean the chosen area on your windshield thoroughly. Ensure it is free of dust and grease.
  2. Attach the windshield mount to the dash cam unit.
  3. Remove the protective film from the adhesive pad or suction cup of the mount.
  4. Press the mount firmly onto the windshield, ensuring the dash cam has a clear view of the road and the interior. Position it so it does not obstruct your driving view.
  5. Adjust the angle of the dash cam to capture the desired field of view.

  1. Connect the USB power cable to the dash cam's USB port.
