Setup
Unboxing and Initial Assembly:
Your DYU C2 Ebike comes mostly pre-assembled. Minimal setup is required to get you riding quickly.
- Carefully remove the bike from its packaging.
- Unfold the main frame and handlebar stem until they lock into place.
- Attach the pedals (if not already attached) by screwing them into the crank arms. Ensure correct left (L) and right (R) pedal placement.
- Adjust the seat height to your comfort level using the quick-release lever.
Initial Battery Charge:
Before your first ride, fully charge the battery. The 48V 7.5AH battery typically takes 4-5 hours for a full charge.
- Locate the charging port on the bike's frame.
- Connect the charger to the bike, then plug it into a power outlet.
- The indicator light on the charger will change when charging is complete.
Operating Instructions
Power On/Off:
To power on the bike, ensure the battery's on/off switch is in the 'On' position. Then, press and hold the power button on the LCD display for 3 seconds. To power off, repeat the process.
Riding Modes:
The DYU C2 offers multiple riding modes to suit your preference:
- Electric Mode: Full electric power using the throttle.
- Pedal-assist Mode: Motor provides assistance as you pedal. Adjust assist levels via the display.
- Pedal-only Mode: Ride like a traditional bicycle with no motor assistance.
- Walk Boost Mode: Provides low-speed assistance for walking alongside the bike.

Throttle Usage:
Gently twist the throttle on the right-hand side to engage the motor for extra power in Electric or Pedal-assist modes. Twist slowly to avoid abrupt high speeds.

The bike is equipped with reliable disc brakes. Use both front and rear brakes simultaneously for effective and safe stopping.
Lights and Bell:
Ensure your headlights and taillights are on when riding in low light conditions. Use the integrated bell to alert pedestrians and other riders.
Maintenance
Battery Care:

- Avoid completely draining the battery.

Tire Pressure:
