3. Product Features
The Vixic E1000 Label Maker is equipped with several features designed for user convenience and label durability:

4. Setup
4.1 Power On Instructions
The Vixic E1000 Label Maker can be powered using either the included USB-C cable or 6 AAA batteries.
Method 1: Power via USB Type-C Cable
- Connect the USB-C cable to the label maker's USB-C port.
- Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to a 5V=2A charger (not included). Ensure the power outlet is active.
- Press and hold the power key for 2-3 seconds until the screen displays content.

Method 2: Power via 6 AAA Batteries
- Prepare 6 AAA batteries (not included).
- Press the release position of the back cover with your thumb, then grab the cover and open it up.
- Insert the 6 AAA batteries, ensuring the negative terminal (-) of the battery is aligned with and pressed against the metal spring in the battery compartment. The upper row batteries should have positive terminals facing left, and the lower row batteries should have positive terminals facing right.
- Close the back cover securely.
- Press and hold the power key for 2-3 seconds until the screen displays content.
Note: If the outdoor temperature is too cold, the power button may malfunction. It is recommended to leave the device in a warm environment for about an hour and then attempt to turn it on. If using old batteries, the electricity may be too weak to turn on the label maker. Replace with new batteries.
4.2 Label Tape Installation
- Press the release position of the back cover with your thumb, then grab the cover and open it up.
- Take out the label tape from its packaging.
- Ensure the end of the tape passes through both tape guides. Extend the tape by about 1.18 inches (3cm) to prevent labels from rolling into the label maker.
- Tighten the carbon ribbon by turning the toothed wheel in the direction of the arrow (1-2 turns) to avoid damage.
- Install the label tape correctly as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the back cover securely.
- Confirm the width of the label tape on the screen and press "OK".

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Printing a Simple Label
- Turn on the label maker by pressing the power key for 2-3 seconds.
- Input the desired text using the QWERTY keyboard.
- Press the print key. The label maker will print the label.
- Press the cutter button to cut the label.
- Remove the 2-part peel backing from the label and stick it onto your item.

5.2 Text and Format Functions
The Vixic E1000 offers various text and format options to customize your labels.
Switch Letter Case
Press the Caps key to switch between uppercase, lowercase, and title case for your text.
Switch Symbol/Punctuation or Number
Press the Shift key followed by the A&N key to switch between symbols, punctuation, and numbers.
Entering Multiple Lines of Text
To enter multiple lines of text, type your first line, then press Enter to move to the next line. Repeat for up to 4 lines depending on tape width.
- 12mm wide label tape: Up to 4 lines of text
- 9mm wide label tape: Up to 3 lines of text
- 6mm wide label tape: Can only print 1 line of text
Font Orientation Key
Use the font orientation key to change the text direction, for example, to print vertical text.
Alignment
Navigate to Menu > OK > [Alignment] > OK. Use the arrow keys to select [Align Left], [Align Center], or [Align Right], then press OK.
Space Button
The Space button inserts a space between characters.
Clearing
To clear text, press Clear. To delete all text and keep the format, select [Text Only] and press OK. To delete all text and format, select [Text & Format] and press OK.
Turn on Cutting
It is recommended to turn on "Cutting" to manually cut the label one by one before using the multiple printing function. This saves label tape and eliminates the need to cut with scissors when printing several labels. Navigate to Menu > OK > [Cutting] > OK > [ON] > OK.
Note: Please do not press the cutter button before a reminder to cut, otherwise it will prompt "Cutter Error!" and the printing work will be terminated.

5.3 Tips for Specific Label Types
The Vixic E1000 supports various label types for different applications.
Print Wrap Label
To create a wrap label for cables, confirm the diameter of the cable. Enter your text, then navigate to the cable wrap setting to adjust the label for wrapping. Press OK and print.
Print Flag Label
For flag labels, confirm the diameter of the cable. Enter your text, then navigate to the flag label setting to adjust the label for flagging. Press OK and print.
Print Non-Laminated Label Tape (e.g., Fabric Iron-on)
When using non-laminated tapes like fabric iron-on, ensure "Mirror" mode is turned ON. Prepare an iron and a piece of cloth fabric for ironing. The iron temperature should be set to 160°C-180°C. Iron over the label 3-4 times, using the tip of the iron to go around the edges of the label. Wait 24 hours before washing.

5.4 Advanced Functions
Chain Print
The Chain Print function allows you to print multiple labels with minimal waste. Effortlessly edit up to 20 different labels. Press Shift + Print to copy up to 9 labels. With a 13.1 feet sample tape, you can print 132 labels (1.2 inch per label), saving up to 5.4 feet of blank labels.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning the Print Head
If printing quality is poor or unclear, the print head may need cleaning. Turn off the label maker and unplug the power cord. Remove the back cover, label tape, and batteries. Dip a cotton swab in a little alcohol and gently wipe the print head with an up-and-down motion. Wait until the alcohol evaporates and the print head is dry before reassembling. Do not scratch the print head with a hard object, as this can damage it and compromise printing.
6.2 Replacing the Cutter Holder
If the cutter becomes dull and the label tape cannot be cut neatly after continuous use, please replace the cutter holder. Remove the back cover and the label tape. Carefully remove the old cutter holder and install the new one. Reassemble the label maker.
7. Troubleshooting
Here are common issues and their resolutions:
7.1 Cannot Turn on Label Maker?
- Resolution 1: Ensure the power key is pressed and held for 2-3 seconds.
- Resolution 2: Check the batteries. If using old batteries, the electricity may be too weak. Replace them with new ones.
- Resolution 3: If using USB-C, make sure the cord is connected correctly and the power socket is powered on.

7.2 Bad Printing Quality?
- Resolution 1: The batteries may be weak. Replace them.
- Resolution 2: There may be dust on the printer head. Remove the tape cassette and gently wipe the printer head with a cotton swab dipped in a little alcohol.
7.3 The tape does not feed correctly or gets stuck inside the labeler?
- Resolution 1: Check that the end of the tape feeds under the tape guides correctly.
7.4 Cutter cannot be cut neatly?
- Resolution 1: The cutter lever may have been used while printing. DO NOT TOUCH the cutter lever during printing.
- Resolution 2: The cutter may be dull. Replace the cutter holder.
7.5 Clear Data from Multi Edit Function?
To clear data from the multi-edit function, navigate to Clear > OK > [Text & Format] > OK.
7.6 Quickly Move the Cursor?
To quickly move the cursor, press Shift + OK to move to the beginning of the line, or Shift + Left/Right Arrow to move the cursor quickly.
