3. Setup and Assembly

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all components from the packaging, including the control unit, search coil, adjustable stem sections, armrest, headphones, shovel, and batteries.
2. Attach Search Coil: Connect the 12-inch search coil to the lower stem using the provided non-screw attachment mechanism. Ensure it is securely fastened.
3. Assemble Stem: Connect the lower, middle, and upper stem sections. The upgraded collapsible cam lock design allows for quick and secure connection. Adjust the length of the stem to a comfortable height (adjustable from 27 to 56 inches).

1. All Metal Mode:

   Detects all types of metal. The detector will provide an audio signal whenever any metal is found. This mode is ideal for general searching when you do not want to discriminate against any metal type.

2. Disc (Discrimination) Mode:

   Allows you to eliminate specific types of metal (e.g., iron, foil) from detection. This helps in ignoring unwanted trash items and focusing on more valuable targets. Use the +/- buttons to adjust discrimination levels.

3. Memory Mode:

   This innovative mode allows you to focus on a single metal type that you have previously detected and saved. The detector will then primarily respond to that specific metal, ignoring others.

4. Jewelry Mode:

   Specifically designed to find jewelry. In this mode, the detector is optimized to respond to precious metals commonly found in jewelry, while often ignoring iron and other common trash metals.

5. PP (Pinpoint) Mode:

   Once a target is detected in another mode, press the PP button to activate Pinpoint mode. This mode helps you precisely narrow down the exact location of the buried target, saving time and effort in digging.

Operating Tips:

• Sweep the search coil slowly and steadily, keeping it parallel to the ground and as close as possible without touching.
• Overlap your sweeps by about half the coil's diameter to ensure thorough coverage.
• When a target is detected, use Pinpoint mode to narrow down its exact location before digging.
• Adjust sensitivity and volume based on your environment and target depth. Lower sensitivity in highly mineralized ground or areas with much trash.
• Use the included headphones in noisy environments to hear subtle signals more clearly.
