4.2 Connecting via Camera Hotspot (No WiFi)
If your location lacks a WiFi network, you can connect directly to the camera's hotspot for local live viewing and playback. Note that this connection is only active when you are in close proximity to the camera.
- Insert TF Card: Ensure a TF card is inserted for recording.
- Power On: Turn on the camera. If you don't hear the WiFi configuration prompt, press the reset button for approximately 4 seconds until you hear "reset completed" and the device restarts.
- Disable Mobile Data & Enable GPS: On your smartphone, turn off mobile data and ensure GPS/Location services are enabled.
- Open WiFi Settings: Go to your phone's WiFi settings and look for a network named "@MC-XXXX" (where XXXX is a unique identifier). This is the camera's hotspot. Connect to it.
- Open O-KAM Pro App: Launch the O-KAM Pro app. The camera should appear on your device list, allowing you to live view and access TF card recordings.
