Assembly

Assembling your Shark WZ250RD is straightforward:

1. Insert the wand into the floor nozzle until it clicks securely into place.
2. Insert the handheld vacuum into the wand until it clicks securely into place.
3. Ensure all connections are firm before operating.

Setup

Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the battery. The battery provides up to 40 minutes of runtime, measured at the hand vac in standard mode.

1. Connect the charging adapter to the charging port on the handheld vacuum.
2. Plug the adapter into a wall outlet.
3. The battery indicator lights will illuminate to show charging status.
4. Once fully charged, unplug the adapter.

Maintenance

Emptying the Dust Cup

The XL dust cup should be emptied regularly to maintain optimal suction performance.

1. Press the dust cup release button to detach the dust cup from the handheld vacuum.
2. Hold the dust cup over a trash bin and press the CleanTouch Dirt Ejector button to open the bottom flap and release debris.
3. Close the flap securely before reattaching the dust cup.

Cleaning Filters

Regularly clean the foam filters to ensure consistent suction. Rinse with water and allow to air dry completely before reinserting.

Self-Cleaning PowerFins Brushroll
