Operating Instructions

The Complete Cuisine CC-1500-SL Slow Cooker features three cooking settings and a warm setting:

  • OFF: Turns the slow cooker off.
  • LOW: For slow, gentle cooking over a longer period. Ideal for tenderizing meats and developing flavors.
  • HIGH: For faster cooking. Use when you need to cook a meal in a shorter timeframe.
  • WARM: Maintains food at a serving temperature after cooking is complete. Do not use the WARM setting for cooking raw food.

General Cooking Guidelines:

  1. Prepare your ingredients and place them into the ceramic pot.
  2. Place the lid on the pot.
  3. Turn the control dial to the desired setting (LOW or HIGH).
  4. Cook for the recommended time according to your recipe. Avoid lifting the lid frequently, as this releases heat and extends cooking time.
  5. Once cooking is complete, you may switch the dial to the WARM setting to keep food at serving temperature.
  6. When finished, turn the dial to OFF and unplug the slow cooker from the outlet.

Note: Cooking times can vary based on ingredients, quantity, and desired doneness. Always ensure food is cooked to a safe internal temperature.

Care and Maintenance

Cleaning:

  • Always unplug the slow cooker and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  • The removable ceramic pot and tempered glass lid are dishwasher safe. Alternatively, they can be washed by hand in warm, soapy water.
  • The exterior of the base unit can be wiped clean with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may scratch the surface.
  • Never immerse the base unit, power cord, or plug in water or any other liquid.
  • For stubborn food residue on the ceramic pot, fill it with warm, soapy water and let it soak for a few hours before cleaning.
