5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Microphone

Before first use, fully charge the microphone. Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the microphone's charging port and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The charging indicator will show the charging status and turn off when fully charged.

5.2 Powering On/Off

• To power on: Press and hold the Power / Mode Button until the indicator light turns on.
• To power off: Press and hold the Power / Mode Button until the indicator light turns off.

5.3 Bluetooth Pairing

After powering on, the microphone will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode. The indicator light will flash, indicating it is ready to pair.

1. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device.
2. Search for available devices and select "Bontempi StarSync" from the list.
3. Once connected, the microphone will emit a confirmation sound, and the indicator light will stop flashing.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Karaoke Function

Once paired with your device, play your favorite karaoke tracks. Your voice will be amplified through the microphone's integrated speaker, mixing with the music.

6.2 TWS (True Wireless Stereo) Function

The TWS function allows you to connect two Bontempi StarSync microphones for a duet experience, playing the same music through both speakers.

1. Ensure both microphones are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth device.
2. On one microphone (this will be the primary), press and hold the Play / Pause / TWS Button for a few seconds until you hear a pairing tone.
3. The two microphones will automatically connect to each other.
4. Once connected, pair the primary microphone to your Bluetooth device as described in section 5.3.
5. Music will now play through both microphones, and both can be used for singing.

6.3 Voice Changer Function

Press the Voice Changer Button repeatedly to cycle through different voice effects. Experiment with various styles to add fun and creativity to your performance.

6.4 Music Playback Controls

• Volume Up/Down: Use the Volume Up / Next Track and Volume Down / Previous Track buttons to adjust the microphone's output volume.
• Next/Previous Track: Short press the Volume Up / Next Track or Volume Down / Previous Track buttons to skip tracks on your connected device.
• Play/Pause: Short press the Play / Pause / TWS Button to play or pause music.

7. Maintenance

• Clean the microphone with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

8. Troubleshooting

• Microphone does not power on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a power source and try again.
• Cannot connect via Bluetooth: Make sure the microphone is in pairing mode (flashing indicator light). Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and it is within range. Try restarting both the microphone and your device.
• No sound from the speaker: Check the volume levels on both the microphone and your connected device. Ensure the microphone is properly paired.
