3. Setup
3.1 Setting the Time and Date
- Pull out the crown: Gently pull the crown (located on the right side of the watch case) to position 2 for time setting, or position 1 for date setting (if applicable).
- Adjust Time/Date: Turn the crown to set the desired time or date.
- Push in the crown: Once set, push the crown back into its original position to start the watch and ensure water resistance.

The Swatch Big Bold Chrono features a stopwatch function. The pushers on the side of the case control the chronograph:
- Start/Stop: Press the top pusher to start and stop the chronograph.
- Reset: Press the bottom pusher to reset the chronograph hands to zero. This can only be done when the chronograph is stopped.

This watch is water resistant up to 100 feet (3 ATM). This means it can withstand splashes, rain, or brief immersion in water. It is not designed for swimming, showering, or diving. Ensure the crown is fully pushed in to maintain water resistance.
