Setup and Installation

Before beginning, ensure you have all necessary tools and that the mounting location is suitable. This mount is not compatible with sloped ceilings.

Step 1: Function Test

Before full installation, perform a function test to ensure the motorized unit is working correctly.

  1. Connect the power adapter to the motorized ceiling mount unit.
  2. Plug the power adapter into a power outlet.
  3. Insert 2 AAA batteries (not included) into the remote control.
  4. Use the remote control to extend and retract the mount. Verify smooth operation.

Step 2: Attach the TV Bracket Assembly

Assemble the TV bracket arms to the center plate using the provided bolts and nuts. Ensure all connections are secure.

Step 3: Attach the TV Bracket Assembly to Your TV

Depending on your TV's back panel design (flat or curved/with a bump), select the appropriate mounting option and use the correct screws and spacers from the hardware kit. Ensure the bracket is centered and securely fastened to the TV's VESA holes.

Step 4: Attach the Mount to the Ceiling

Locate the wood joists or suitable concrete area in your ceiling. Use the drilling template to mark pilot holes. Secure the main ceiling mount unit using the appropriate lag bolts for your ceiling type. Ensure the mount is firmly attached and level.

Step 5: Hang the TV on the Ceiling Mount

Carefully lift the TV (with the attached bracket) and align the keyhole slots on the TV bracket with the corresponding bolts on the ceiling mount. Slide the TV into place and ensure it is securely seated. Partially tighten the bolts to allow for level adjustment.

Step 6: Level Adjustment

Before fully tightening the bolts, use the manual ±2° leveling feature to fine-tune your TV's horizontal position. Once level, fully tighten all bolts to secure the TV in place.

Step 7: Cable Management

Organize and secure all cables using the provided cable straps. This prevents cables from interfering with the motorized mechanism and ensures a clean, tidy appearance.

Operating Instructions

The Perlegear Electric Ceiling TV Mount is operated using the included remote control.
