3.1 Tachometer and Hour Meter Functions
The device functions as both a tachometer and an hour meter:
- RPM Display: When the engine is running, the meter displays the real-time RPM value. The RPM measurement range is 0 to 6000 RPM. You can also view the historic maximum RPM recorded since the engine started.
- Total Hours (TOT): The meter accumulates total engine hours when the engine is on and displays this value when the engine is off. The total hours range is 0 to 99,999 hours. An initial value for total hours can be set within 1 hour before engine start, useful for replacing old hour meters.
- Single Working Hours (JOB): A resettable hours record is available for tracking the duration of a single working period.
