6. Maintenance and Cleaning

- Turn off the power unit and release the trigger to allow material to flow back into the canister from the spray gun.
- Return any leftover material to the original container.
- Add cleaning solution (water for water-based paints, appropriate solvent for oil-based paints) to the canister, clean the canister and tube, and dispose of waste properly. Refill with new cleaning solution.
- Reattach the canister, air hose, and power, and turn on the unit.
