1. Battery Installation

2. Programming Your Remote
The UR3-SR3S remote can be programmed using several methods to control your Cable Box, TV, and DVD player. Choose the method that best suits your needs.

2.1. Auto-Search Method
This method automatically searches for the correct code for your device.

- Turn on the equipment you want to program (Cable Box, TV, or DVD).
- Press the device button (i.e., CBL, TV, or DVD button) and the OK/SEL button simultaneously for 3 seconds. The device LED will turn on for 20 seconds. While the LED is on, press the CH+ or CH- button one at a time or keep it pressed. The remote will give off a series of power ON/OFF code signals. Release the CH+ or CH- button as soon as the equipment turns off.
- To make sure you've entered the correct code, press the MUTE button. The device will turn on or off.
- Press the same device button (i.e., CBL, TV, or DVD button) to store the code. The device LED will blink twice.
2.2. Three-Digit Code Method
This method requires you to enter a specific three-digit code for your device brand. Refer to the code list provided with your remote or contact customer support for a list of codes.

- Turn on the device you want to program (i.e., Cable Box, TV, and DVD).
- Press the device button and the OK/SEL button simultaneously for three seconds. The device LED will turn on for 20 seconds. Point the remote toward the equipment and enter the three-digit code assigned to your brand while the LED is on.
- To make sure you've entered the correct code, press the MUTE button. The device should turn off.
- To store the three-digit code, press the device button once. The device LED will blink twice.
- Test out the remote buttons (MUTE, VOLUME, etc.). If the buttons don't work as they should, repeat step #2 using the next three-digit code from the brand list.
2.3. Quick Setup Method
This method offers a simplified approach for programming your TV.

- Turn on the device (i.e., TV) you want to program.
- Press and hold the device button (CBL, TV or DVD button) for five seconds until the LED blinks once and stays on. Continue to hold the device button and enter the code for your brand. The device LED will blink twice.
- Point the remote at the device.
- Press the device button. If it turns off, you're all set. If not, then try another code assigned to your brand, or try another method.
2.4. Factory Reset
If you need to clear all programmed settings and return the remote to its original factory state, follow these steps:

- Press and hold the CBL + REC buttons simultaneously until the remote lights move from right to left three times. (This should take approximately 10 seconds).
- The remote should now be reset.
