Product Overview

The Imagebon 10.26" Wireless Carplay Screen is a portable car stereo system designed to enhance your driving experience with advanced connectivity and safety features. It integrates wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, a dual 4K dash cam with 1080P backup camera, and an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). The large IPS HD touchscreen provides clear visuals and easy interaction, while multiple audio output modes ensure compatibility with various car audio systems.

Upon unboxing, ensure all components are present:

Setup and Installation

The Imagebon Carplay Screen offers flexible installation options to suit various vehicle dashboards. Follow these steps for proper setup:

1. Choose Mounting Location: Select a flat, clean surface on your dashboard or windshield. The unit comes with both a suction cup mount and a 3M sticky mount for secure attachment.
2. Attach Mount to Unit: Securely attach your chosen mount to the back of the Carplay screen unit. Ensure it is tightened to prevent movement.
3. Position and Secure Unit: Place the mounted unit on your chosen surface. For the suction cup, press down firmly and engage the lever to create a vacuum seal. For the sticky mount, peel off the protective film and press firmly onto the dashboard.
4. Connect Power: Plug the car charger into your vehicle's 12V power outlet (cigarette lighter socket) and connect the USB-C/Buck line to the Carplay unit.
5. Connect Rear Camera (Optional): If using the backup camera, connect its AV IN cable to the designated port on the Carplay unit. Route the cable neatly to the rear of your vehicle and install the camera in a suitable location (e.g., near the license plate). Connect the red wire of the rear camera to your car's reverse light power for automatic reverse view activation.
6. Connect GPS Antenna (Optional): Plug the GPS antenna into the 3.5mm GPS Jack on the unit. Position the antenna where it has a clear view of the sky for optimal signal reception. This is required for ADAS features.
7. Insert TF Card: Insert the provided 64GB TF card into the TF Card Slot for recording dash cam footage.

Operating Instructions

The 10.26" IPS HD touchscreen provides intuitive control over all functions. The unit powers on automatically when the vehicle starts.

Wireless Connectivity (Apple Carplay / Android Auto)

Effortlessly connect your smartphone for navigation, calls, music, and intelligent assistant access:

1. On the Carplay screen, select either "CarPlay" or "Android Auto".
2. On your smartphone, enable Bluetooth and search for the device name (e.g., "QCKJ_A2B4" or "QCKJ_9505").
3. Pair your phone with the device via Bluetooth.
4. After successful Bluetooth connection, the unit will automatically switch to Wi-Fi for data transmission.
5. If unable to connect, restart the Carplay unit and your smartphone.

Phone Mirroring (AirPlay / Miracast)

Project your mobile phone screen directly onto the Carplay unit's display:

• Access the AirPlay/Miracast function from the unit's menu.
• Follow the on-screen prompts to connect your smartphone for screen mirroring.

Audio Output Modes

The unit supports four audio output modes to integrate with your car's sound system:

• Speaker: Use the unit's built-in speaker.
• Carplay/Auto: Audio is transmitted directly through the Carplay/Android Auto connection.
• FM: Transmit audio to your car's FM radio by tuning to the same frequency.
• AUX: Connect via the provided 3.5mm AUX cable to your car's AUX input.

Dual Dash Cam Recording (4K Front + 1080P Rear)

The unit features a dual-lens dash cam system for comprehensive recording:

• The front camera records in stunning 4K Ultra HD with a wide-angle lens.
• The rear camera captures in 1080P Full HD.
• Intelligent motion detection and emergency lock features ensure important footage is secured.
• Supports seamless loop recording to the 128GB TF card.

Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS)

The integrated ADAS enhances driving safety with real-time alerts:

• Front Vehicle Starting Reminder: Alerts you when the vehicle in front starts moving.
• Forward Collision Warning: Provides warnings if you are approaching a vehicle too quickly.
• Lane Departure Warning: Alerts you if you drift out of your lane without signaling.

Note: An additional GPS antenna is required to activate the FVS RS feature.

Maintenance

• Screen Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the touchscreen. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• TF Card Management: Periodically format the TF card to prevent data corruption and ensure continuous loop recording. The unit supports up to 128GB.
• Firmware Updates: Check the manufacturer's website or app for any available firmware updates to improve performance and add new features.
• 24-Hour Parking Monitoring: If enabled, ensure an extra hardware kit is installed for continuous parking monitoring.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Imagebon Carplay Screen, refer to the following common solutions:

• Connectivity Issues (Carplay/Android Auto):
  • Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and the unit.
  • Verify the correct device name is selected for pairing.
  • If connection fails, try restarting the Carplay unit and your smartphone.
  • Check for any conflicting Bluetooth connections.
• Recording Problems:
  • Ensure the TF card is properly inserted and not full.
  • Format the TF card regularly to resolve potential recording errors.
  • Check the dash cam settings for proper resolution and loop recording configuration.
• ADAS Feature Inaccuracy:
  • Ensure the GPS antenna is correctly installed and has a clear signal.
  • Perform ADAS calibration as per the instructions below to align lane lines.
• Audio Output Issues:
  • Verify the selected audio output mode (Speaker, Carplay/Auto, FM, AUX) is correctly configured.
  • For FM transmission, ensure your car radio is tuned to the same clear frequency as the unit.
  • For AUX, ensure the cable is securely connected to both the unit and your car's AUX input.

ADAS Calibration Instructions

Proper calibration of the ADAS system is crucial for accurate warnings. Follow these steps:

1. After installing the unit, turn on the ADAS switch.
2. Adjust the camera so that the screen lane lines coincide with the road lane lines.
3. If the screen lane line deviates significantly from the road lane line, you can manually change the position of the lane lines on the screen.
4. Press and hold the ADAS button to allow the calibration line to appear.
5. Adjust the horizontal line to align with the far end of the road.
6. Adjust the vertical lines to be centered and aligned to the current road.
7. Press and hold the ADAS button again to save the adjustment.
