  1. Prepare the Helmet: First, completely remove the inner padding of your helmet.
  2. Choose the Mount: The X1 headset comes with two types of clips: a buckle clip and a 3M adhesive clip. Select the clip that best fits your helmet type. For this demonstration, we use the buckle clip.
  3. Attach the Mount: Find the corresponding position on your helmet's edge and gently push the chosen mount into place until it is secure.
  4. Install the Main Unit: Once the mount is secured, take the X1 main unit, align it with the mount, and gently slide it downwards until it clicks into place. To remove the unit, press the top lock and slide it upwards.
  5. Connect the Microphone: Take the microphone support cable and firmly connect its Type-C connector to the port at the bottom of the X1 main unit.
  6. Position the Speakers: Insert the shorter end of the speaker cable into the designated headphone slot near the main unit. If your helmet's headphone slot does not have adhesive, you can use the included 3M adhesive to secure the speaker.
  7. Install the Second Speaker: Insert the longer speaker cable into the headphone space on the opposite side of the helmet, following the same installation method.
  8. Select and Position the Microphone: The X1 includes both a rigid boom microphone and a soft button microphone.
    • For modular or jet helmets, choose the rigid boom microphone.
    • For full-face helmets, use the soft button microphone.
Connect the chosen microphone's connector to the bottom part of the headphone cable, ensuring a firm connection. Position the microphone near your mouth for optimal voice pickup.
  9. Organize Cables and Reassemble: Carefully organize all cables within the helmet's interior. Finally, reinsert the helmet's inner padding back into its original position.
