4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Shaver

  1. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the shaver's charging port.
  2. Plug the other end of the USB-C cable into a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.
  3. The display will indicate the charging status. A full charge provides up to 150 minutes of shaving time.

4.2 Attaching the Shaver Head

The shaver head attaches magnetically for convenience and secure fit.

  1. Align the shaver head with the main body of the device.
  2. The magnetic connection will securely snap the head into place.
  3. Ensure the head is firmly attached before use.

5. Operating the Shaver

5.1 Power On/Off

  • Press the power button located on the top of the shaver to turn it on.
  • Press the power button again to turn it off.

5.2 Shaving Instructions

The DOAO A6-1 shaver can be used for both dry and wet shaving.

  1. Dry Shaving: Ensure your skin is clean and dry. Gently move the shaver in circular motions over the area to be shaved.
  2. Wet Shaving: Apply shaving foam or gel to your skin. Move the shaver in circular motions. Rinse the shaver head under running water during and after use.
  3. The 6D flexible heads will contour to your head and face for an efficient shave.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Shaver Head

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and hygiene.

  1. Turn off the shaver before cleaning.
  2. Gently pull the shaver head away from the main body to detach it. The magnetic connection makes this easy.
  3. Rinse the shaver head under running water to remove hair clippings and debris. The shaver head is waterproof.
  4. Use the provided cleaning brush to remove any stubborn hair particles from the blades.
  5. Allow the shaver head to air dry completely before reattaching it to the main body or storing.

6.2 Storage

  • Store the shaver in a cool, dry place.
  • Use the provided protective cover for the cutter head to prevent damage.
  • Place the shaver in the fleece storage bag for travel or extended storage.

7. Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Shaver does not turn on. Low battery or no charge. Charge the shaver fully.
Poor shaving performance. Blades are dirty or dull. Clean the shaver head thoroughly. Consider replacing the shaver head if performance does not improve.
Shaver head detaches easily during use. Shaver head not properly aligned or magnetic connection weakened. Ensure the shaver head is correctly aligned and firmly attached. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
Charging not working. Cable or adapter fault, or charging port is wet. Check the USB-C cable and adapter. Ensure the charging port is dry. Try a different charging source.
