  3. Free Spool the Rope: Disengage the clutch by moving the clutch lever to the 'FREE' position. Pull out the synthetic rope to reach the anchor point.
  4. Secure the Hook: Attach the hook securely to the anchor point. Ensure the safety latch is closed.
  5. Engage the Clutch: Move the clutch lever to the 'LOCK' position.
  6. Connect Remote Control: Plug in the wired remote or ensure the wireless remote is paired and functional. To activate the wireless remote, hold both buttons for a few seconds.
  7. Begin Winching: Stand clear of the rope and winch. Use the remote control to slowly reel in the rope. Monitor the winching operation closely.
  8. Stop Winching: Release the remote button to stop the winch. If the vehicle is recovered, release tension, disconnect the hook, and carefully rewind the rope.
  9. Rewind Rope: With the clutch engaged, slowly rewind the rope onto the drum under slight tension to ensure even layering. Do not free spool the last few feet of rope.

6. Maintenance

  • Rope Inspection: Regularly inspect the synthetic rope for signs of wear, fraying, cuts, or damage. Replace the rope if any damage is found.
  • Electrical Connections: Check all electrical connections periodically for corrosion or looseness. Clean and tighten as necessary.
  • Winch Housing: Keep the winch housing clean. Wipe off dirt and debris after each use.
  • Lubrication: The internal components are factory-lubricated and generally do not require user maintenance. Do not attempt to disassemble the winch.
